Isn't it funny some of us are like that?

I used to hunt.  I didn't hesitate to shoot a squirrel, or a rabbit to take home and eat.  But if one darted out in the road in front of my car I'd hit the breaks/swerve and do my best not to hit it.  Didn't mind killing it with a .22 or 12 ga. but didn't want to kill it on the highway.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

OK, here's my lame turtle experience

Bass fishing with brother-in-law I was visiting with in Mississippi (just south of Memphis). 
We were in a small row boat on a runner of the Mississippi River and I noticed a small head floating by the bank and I alerted my BIL . He told me it was a snapping turtle and had nothing to worry about as long as I kept my fingers out of the water.  About 40 minutes or so, I see another and again pointed it out to my BIL, that is when he stated that this one wasn't a turtle but instead was a water moccasin------------ I quickly ended my fishing for the day.

See, I'm from the Pacific NorthWest (western side) and we don't have venomous snakes in our rivers.

Sorry, my only turtle experience.
