extension bases for CZ 527
« on: January 27, 2004, 02:54:46 PM »
Does anybody have any pictures of any extension bases for use on the 527?  I'm thinking about the B-Square Weaver Adapter extension, but can't find any images of it to see how far it actually extends things.  Also I've heard of some sort of Tactical mount, is this a one piece rail, or what?

TIA,

Monte

Within the CZ-UB e-site go to the Press section, there you'll find 4 downloadable catalogs. Within the hunting catalog there's an extensive ring section to satisfy any situation. I've already passed an order late last year with no parts delivered yet, hopefuly the order will arrive soon. So if you order prepare to wait.:\

It took me a bit, but I did find the site www.czub.cz/index_en.php  Problem is, the downloads are unavailable or don't exist (tried two different browsers, IE and Safari) at that location.  Guess I'll have to try  something else...

As far as waiting... well, I don't need it tomorrow, but a couple months is ridiculous.

Thanks,

Monte

You where almost there, go to your posted hyper-link, on the left hand completely there's an I(capital i symbol), click on it. Within this upper new menu you'll get an Accrobat file(use the Accrobat to print, and not the browser's print file). These files are long to download but if downloaded directly to your computer they'll be much faster. Have a serious look at their Red dot aiming device for the 527, 550.

That's what I did.  Specifically, this:

www.czub.cz/content/news/...unting.pdf

is the file I found.  But when I click on the link, or try to download it directly to disk, I either get a HTTP404 error (browser) or my download manager program says 'File does not exist'.  Same thing, either way.  No file to look at.  8 megs, though.  That's got to be full o' goodies.

I have a weaver base for the 527. It is a flatop tactical looking base. Works with any weaver type rings. I have a pic of my rifle with it. The base is for sale $35.00 free shipping.

Here is the base. One screw had some rust. They sent me
2 new ones so the base/screws are like new.
