.221 Fireball

This rifle by CZ is offered only in American configuration when at heart should have been conceaved with a heavy barrel, varmint stock, etc.
as to wring out full potential of this round. This round is conceived as a target round(precision not power) and saddly is offered on the wrong platter:\ , the odd-ball caliber will only entise seasonned rifle shooters which are'nt inclined to the light & wimpy barrel for target shooting.

The .221 FB is a fairly popular round in whatever platform out here in the West for our little ground squirrels/gophers.  It's very well suited as the intended targets are quite small, VERY plentiful and really require little power, but do require accuracy.  The round requires less powder than the popular .223 Rem, is just as accurate, is easier on barrels and loads easily with good case life.
I've loaded Fireballs on a Dillon press, hundreds per hour. Quick and simple.

I would like to see the .221 FB in the heavy barrel model but I'd try one in the American configuration.

At least CZ is chambering a very useful and interesting cartridge in SOMETHING.
