Sorry to revive an old thread but thought a brief review might be worthwhile to some. Following kawrider1100 s heads up back in June on a great price at Palmetto State, I bought a Tanfoglio Stock I large frame at $649.00. Great price. Was honestly a little disappointed when it arrived. Trigger wasn't as good as I expected in dry fire. Put just a few rounds through it for functionality and put it away. Finally got it to the range last weekend. HOLY CATS this thing is a freakin' laser!! I'm not the world's greatest pistoleer. Usually shoot paper and steel at 7 yds to 25 yds. Figure I'm not gonna be engaging bad guys at longer distances with a pistol. After 50 rds, those distances were too easy! Ran the steel out to 50 yds and was reliably putting 17 out of 17 on target. Probably not great shooting for many but for my old eyes and hands, it was great! Very manageable recoil with quick recovery. Was dead on accurate with no adjustments. Just couldn't seem to miss with half the effort at being accurate. Handed it to a younger friend with the same results. SO pleased with this pistol!! MANY, MANY thanks to kawrider1100 for the heads up! Wish now I'd bought a small frame too at that price. Now they are 1196.99 at PSA and they are calling that a clearance price from $1600 msrp!
