Twins.
« on: June 30, 2023, 08:12:11 PM »
I ran across these two Pre B's in the same store, in complete opposite ends of a large display case. Only after seeing them both, and asking to see them in hand, I realized they are consecutive serial numbers. I really didnt have the money to buy them both, so I did what any red blooded American would do, I put them on my charge card. They were surplus pistols and in rough cosmetic condition, but in great mechanical shape. I had them ceracoted in a satin black with glossy controls, then bought the beautiful KSD grips for them ...And this is what they look like now....

I think they really turned out nice, and I'm quite proud of them.

Tried to load more pics but Imgur just will NOT cooperate...I have no patience with that site.

Absolutely gorgeous. Nice score in finding these and keeping them as a pair! I need to do this on a couple of pre-B’s as well and appreciate the inspiration. I like that you remembered to hit that safety indicator with red. Did they Cerakote that or was it a paint pen or ??
