94 Transitional No Notch Question

Hi everyone. I just bought a pair of transitional 75s. Both have no notch frames. I haven’t been able to find much information on them. I don’t know how common they are, how many were made or if they were made for a certain reason. Does anyone have any information on these no notch frame guns they could share?
