Can you Mod 1911 grips for Rami?
« on: October 26, 2023, 06:01:40 PM »
Has anyone tried to modify 1911 wood grips by drilling a lower hole and cutting them shorter to fit on a Rami?  Maybe carving on the upper portion?

I have a rami on the way but it is not in my posesion yet or i would not ask such a stupid question.

I dont know, but that seems like a bit of work.  Why not just get grips made explicitly for the Rami?  There are many readily available online.  I got my Cool Grips on Ebay...
Good luck!

Yes,  they are cheap too.  I like wood,  I have extra 1911 grips that are smooth.  I also have made my own grips for other guns.  It is therapy really because they are very labor intensive.  But potentially very unique.

There is Marshal Grips and if you can find them Hakan Pek grips.  Both are very high quality wood gun grips.
