I'm seeing progress in my house chores, car repairs and general time/$ stinks. I made myself do those first and then get back to ammosmithing.
I bought a box of 500 105 Berger VLDs and loaded them until I had no more powder (leverEvolution). I primed all the other brass so its ready to drop powder and bullet.
Today I'm priming 30-06 from bags of brass that I processed years ago. When I get them all primed they will be loaded with 4064 and 150gn softpoints for the Garand and Eddystone

After that I only have a few small batches of dirty brass to process. I normally wait until I have a couple hundred of whatever so I will let those piles slowly accumulate before washing them.

I am about to order some more Starline 6.5 CM small primer pockets and load some of those. After that I should be "all done" for winter.

Just curious about what are you guys loading this winter?

Loading a bunch of 9x19 this week for year end  matches and practice, then switching over to 45ACP. Then I need to work up a load for an old .270 Winchester that I'm restoring.

I'm trying to get ahead on my 9mm so I can run a batch of 5.56 brass processing and loading through on the s1050.  I've got a half a five gallon bucket full of 5.56 to load.  The conversion time/effort on the s1050 makes it preferable to load in big batches.

I don't have much other rifle stuff to load at the moment.  I have been spending a ton of time developing loads for the 7PRC and my hunt (which was successful).  No need to do much more for now on the hunting front now that it is over this year.

I have two five gallon buckets of 9mm to process.  I will probably sell most of that.

I need to get supplies to smelt lead.  I have about 3 gallons of lead splatter from my range pickup process that could be processed into ingots.  Will probably sell those too.

I need to burn some powder to make room for more election year stock up powder :).

That is the plan this winter.

Cheers,
Toby

Have 5000 rounds of 40 and more than 7000 of 357 Sig.  Do not even want to think about the 10mm and 45 I need work on.  Good news is I have at least 1 ammo can full.

Have brass, primers, powder and bullets for 9MM, .40 S&W, .45 acp, .223, .308 and some .30-06.

I need to work on some 180 grain loads for the M&P .40's.

I need to work on some 124 grain loads for the M&P 9MM's.  Got some WW572 and Shooter's World powder to use for the 9s and the .40's.

Now that I've found out the big 2.0 .40 shoots the 140 grain MBC LFN bullets loaded with Herco about as well as the CZ's do I can load up a bunch more of those, too.

I've got one of the propane annealers and I've got .223 brass (well used for a few years) that needs to go through that thing and see if helps stop the neck/shoulder splits - so I'll have to reload it to try.

My stuff is so cluttered and unorganized right now I bought a box of 2,000 9mm empties from Everglades a few weeks back.  Took them to the shed and set them on the floor by the reloading bench.  A few days later I noticed a similar size box sitting back under the edge of the bench and pulled it out to find it was 2,000 pieces of 9MM brass I don't even remember ordering.

I'm going to get some heat in the shed for the winter and do some reloading this winter.  Turn the radio on, fire up the heater and enjoy working up some loads.  Sooner or later I'll find a load to that'll make the M&P shoot like the P09, or I'll be buying another KKM Precision barrel.

Unlike some people, reloading for me is like shooting, or cleaning the guns after shooting.  Just another enjoyable part of shooting guns.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Was the OP looking for a different answer?

Like - Buy more brass to process!  It's okay buddy, you can tell your wife you got the advice on the internet, so it must be correct.

I thought this was going to lead to a mistake that was caught after loading everything, glad that wasn't it.  Time to go shoot it all, move to a location that allows you to shoot in zero snow

Loading some 9 MM before shoulder surgery in January.  Won't be pulling any handles for a while.
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

I thought I was pretty well done... then a widowed friend called me. Her husband left the house filled with 2 rooms full of reloading equipment to haul away... a lot of it brand new in unopened boxes. Crazy.

What did I find when I opened the first 3 boxes ? 10,000 primers and 16 lbs of powder !!

Wow, you guys have been busy it sounds like. I went to Cabelas yesterday and found 2# of LeverLoution so I loaded all the rest of !200 6ARC cases I had primed. Thats all of that caliber.

I was looking for more 4064 to load 30-06 - I've only got 1# of 4064 that I'm about to use today until I find more.

Hope you guys have a good thanksgiving. - I ordered more brass yesterday so I will not be bored for a while.
I'm sorry to hear about your old friend Wobbly!
