Pistol brass doesn't grow like that, but just the same.
It actually gets shorter.

finally got barrel out of slide. CZ says they can't fix because the serialize is on handgrip, but will discount gun. But a new gun is cheaper on some sites. Might just sell my 6 magazines with slide and barrel.

Wow.  That's a major blowout.  Looks more like a overpressure rifle round kaboom. 

Doesn't look like an, "Oh darn, weak piece of brass," kaboom.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Finally decided to try to get brass out of barrel. Pulled out real easy. surprised me it came out with little effort. No damage to barrel or slide that I can see.

What is the case overall length on the reloads you are using?  Have you plunk tested them? I think the failure here lies with the ammo.
