Simple, robust construction.  Real metal, no potmetal crap.  There are cheap pieces out there, have had some myself.

Something that works all the time, you can live with, and won't break.

Oh, and no tombstones.

No need to over think, or get caught up in the latest "shiny!!!!".

Most images lifted from other (newer) web pages are not in JPG format anymore, meaning they can't be posted here.

However, while you're viewing the page, if you Copy the page address, you can Paste that address in your text (which then becomes a "Link") and we can go there to look at it (them).  Like this....

Speaking of which, I just inherited an EDC Nextbelt which I've been wearing about a week, and I like it. The ratchet system makes it adjustable in 1/4" increments.

If you're just looking for belt buckles you might google the BUCKLE GUY, Belt wise I have a couple of older Bianchi belts three Beltman belt a Mag Pul and a S&S Leather belt. Most have solid brass D shaped buckles, but two black belts have Buckle Guy black D shaped buckles. They all serve their purpose.

This guy makes Belts and Wallets.

https://www.mrlentz.com/

I don't own one of the belts, but his wallets are so good that 5 or 6 family members have them and we can't wear them out. The wallets are excellent, nearly indestructible ! About once a year I apply some of the leather treatment he sent along. I'll never buy another nylon wallet again.

Use the code JOURNEY8 and you'll get $10 off, thanks to me.

The wallets make excellent Christmas presents.

I used to use a High Noon Rock Steady gunbelt for years, finally beat it to death. I am now breaking in a MidwayUSA gunbelt, holy cowski this thing is stiff as a life sentence! But, it's a Crossbreed, so it's very well made.

I use a Kore Essentials leather gun belt, the 1.5 inch buffalo leather strap with the X9 buckle, for normal casual wear.  I also have one of their nylon gun belts with an X7 buckle that I wear when I need a stiffer belt or need something more water or sweat resistant.  I wouldn't trade a ratcheting belt system for any old traditional style belt and buckle at this point.

Zack White has been my go to for leather and hardware for a couple decades. They may have a buckle you like.

And of course there's always Tandy

Since your picture posting question has been addressed-----

I prefer roller buckles on dedicated holster belts.  Much easier to put on and less wear/tear on the belt material.
