Best replacement grips for Cz97 to round off back strap?
« on: December 30, 2023, 08:57:08 PM »
One thing that bothers me about my Cz97B is how the thin grips end before the beginning of the edge of the back strap. This causes the metal of the back strap to dig into my hand when firing. I’m hoping to find a replacement grip set that provides a more rounded contour to the back of the grip to prevent the pain it causes my hand. Maybe something similar to a hogue grip? Some kind of rubber? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you can find them the factory rubber grips or even the wooden grips do just what you want. I know what you mean about the thin grips. I tried a set and hated them enough that they didn't even get a range trip.

I bought factory rubber grips for the 75b and 97b here last year. The service was prompt considering it came from Europe.

Went to this site just now and added rubber grips to cart, but no way to access cart to order. You sure this is a legit business?

And in related news….still looking for a good carry holster option for the 97. I still can’t decide if I want to even try an IWB or focus on a belt holster. Help please?

I’ve checked online for the rubber grips and all sites that carry them are out of stock currently.

I just went to the site, added the 97b grips to my cart, proceeded to the checkout, and could have easily purchased the grips using Paypal or credit card.

Check if you have adblockers on your browser for this site. Sometimes that can be a holdup.

It was certainly a legitimate site last year when I made my purchases.

You won't find anything in stock specifically for the 97. Ordering from one of the custom makers like High Noon or Wright Leather Works will be your best bet.

I’m using my iPhone. Think that may cause the issue? I literally didn’t have an option to check out or view cart. I’m going to check into it. Were you able to use credit card?

I went to site again on my iPhone and everything worked fine this time. I was able to see and access cart and check out. Thanks for the help. So how long did shipping take from EU?

Thanks. I look forward to getting to the range with the new rubber grips so I can give the new Pro Package a good testing.

I mostly carry my 97B IWB in a TTGunleather Slim XC. I also have a Vedder Light Tuck. I also carry it at times in a M7 shoulder holster.

I got a set of rubber grips from the above site. It took 7 days to arrive on the US east coast. About the available holsters I have a leather 1791 owb holster I use for the 97B. I'm cheap and it works fine for me with the 75 based units as well.

they are not rubber, but Nill-Griffe makes really good walnut grips for only $305.00 plus shipping of $18.  They are my favorites, except for the cost. 8)
