This is the first I've seen these. They look like a nice set up but these guys need to do an extended slide stop to go with them.

Apparently Shadow2 slide stops fit on a P07/09.

Might be too big of a shelf for some folks but a CZ OEM Shadow2 slide stop might fit as well and offer an in between size…

Yes they do fit but I'd like too see a matched set so the gun doesn't look it's been pieced together.

It can also be ran using their left side safety and the CZ right side safety. Interesting. Anyone going to order one and test it out?

I’m think about trying a set out. I really don’t know if I’d want to run both sides tho.

Thanks for posting. I ordered one and was delivered this morning. Seems to be good quality.

I elected to install the KNS left side safety and keep the CZ factory on right to keep that side low profile as I am right handed. The install is easy, if you have already switched from de-cocker to the safety you should have no problem.

One item of note, you need to use the detent spring and small flat detent "piece" from your factory safety. If you install the KNS safety without doing this there is no click when actuating the safety. KNS did provide and extra one of these small detent pieces in the packaging but not an extra spring. So I would use caution when installing as these are under tension and can go flying off if you're not careful. Both of these will drop right in to the KNS safety so it's not a big deal but a small note or directions in the packaging would be helpful.

All that being said the extended safety does make a world of difference over the factory. Once installed it seems to function as expected and makes the actuation of the safety much easier. No range time yet but hoping to test soon.

If you switch to decocker, you don't need this at all. O0

And… they’re gone…

Here is my follow up on this. I did have a chance to go to the range once using the KNS safety. This was prior to the safety being discontinued. I had zero issues, the P09 did function as expected.

On Monday I received an email from KNS indicating that they were recalling the safety. They included a postage paid label and will issue a full refund once the safety is received back. On top of that they did also offer an additional credit for a future purchase from their website for my trouble. Yesterday they took the additional step of calling me just to confirm a got the email and the shipping label. I didn't get any additional info other what was previously mentioned regarding unforeseen tolerances.

Although I am disappointed as I liked the function of the extended safety. I think KNS Precision handled this as well as possible. The customer service here was outstanding in my opinion. I would not have any reservations purchasing from KNS Precision in the future.
