OK, so I know the CZ 600 Alpha .308 that I have has a detachable magazine. But what I never really thought of was actually carrying spare mags in the field. Obviously most solid hunters tell me they rarely if ever use the entire 4 or 5 round fixed internal in their preferred hunting rifle during a trip. Not being an experienced hunter in any way, shape or form, (sorry), BUT a decent shot I figured if I ever get out, I'd want to have one spare mag with me for malfunctions related to magazines, and I've heard of hunters lost, using the fire three system, and being shot dry in a matter of minutes. Yes, of course I'm over thinking it - I'm justifying using a spare or maybe even two spare magazines for this fine rifle. So, rationalizing all out of the way, any recommendations on how to carry one out in the woods, or desert, down here? Just curious.
