Cz 85 pre B in bright nickel

What did I just buy?  I can’t find any info on bright nickel 85’s.  Did I buy a refinished gun or is it legit?  I’d it polished SS or nickel? I can’t quite make out the year.  I can see a 9 and see the AAL import mark . Does a square trigger guard and a spur hammer make this a transitional model ? Will it have the firing pin block?

It appears to be plated over the importer's stamp on the slide there at the front.  I'd say it wasn't stamped like that leaving the CZ factory so the refinish job, as pretty as it is, was done after some use somewhere else and after being imported to the US.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

My non nickel-plated CZ 85 has the same Action Arms import marking on the slide. It's a 1994 transitional with the square trigger guard and no firing pin safety but a ring hammer. I think yours predates CZ offering stainless pistols, but I don't know enough to say if nickel was offered on the earlier model 85's or not. Yours doesn't have a firing pin safety and I would guess it's a transitional pistol.

Second that.

That's now this gun was looking when it left the factory. Before the nickel plating.
