question on manual safety hammer
« on: April 16, 2024, 05:00:28 PM »
I'm confused about the term "manual safety hammer". Does this hammer actually convert a stock 75B to single action only?  In that case, isn't there a modified disconnector that goes with this hammer?

These hammers are "skeletonized" so they would shorten the lock time a little, and hopefully be easier to manually decock.
Which CGW skeletonized hammer functions the same as the stock 75B hammer?

Thank you,

I believe manual-safety and decocker models have different hammers, at least in regard to the lower part that rides internally and is not seen when in use.

The hammers are different between a decocker variant and a manual safety variant.  The decocker variant only has a single hook to allow the decocker lever clearance to lift the sear during decocker operation.
