Fit CZ Spur Hammer to CZ75B Stock Pistol?
« on: April 21, 2024, 02:05:45 PM »
CZ USA offers a spur hammer which is probably stock on a CZ75B Retro.  Can this spur hammer be used in a stock CZ75B?
Thank you,

Yes.

CZ75 Compact 9MM

CZ75B .40 S&W

The notch in the hammer is much shallower than the factory hammer.  The cam on the left side safety lever shaft has to be modified to allow the safety to move to the SAFE position if you try to use the factory sear.  If you buy a CGW adjustable sear no filing/stoning is required on the safety cam and the job is done much easier and faster.

The shallow/sharp notch in the hammer may result in a most awesome CZ SA trigger pull.  It did on both of mine.  Three pounds, so crisp/sharp that you don't want to believe the trigger pull ga. when it reads 3 lbs. and you find yourself checking it 2 or 3 more times to convince yourself it really is 3 lbs. even though it feels lighter.

Good luck.  I love the look of those spur hammers.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
