I had not shot the little 3.5" barrel subcompact since February, but lots of practice with the P-10F apparently carried over to the P-10S. They both have Holosun sights which are a perfect match for the B-6C black 8 ring targets that I've been using lately.
I didn't know what to expect, but I quit worrying after the first 5 shots, which consisted of four 10 ring hits and one shot a little lower than the others.
https://youtu.be/AW8zB9t2SpEThe results I can achieve are eyesight limited. I cut out some 10-20 second rest periods between shots when I rest my eyes some. If the dot appears oblong instead of round, it is an indication that I need to look at something else for a few seconds at least. Usually the oblong shape has the long axis vertical, and I will tend to place the dot slightly lower than when it appears round, thus moving the shots down a little. This may have happened after the first 5 shots, not sure. The gun didn't change. But the change is small in the grand scheme of things.
I'm also happy that I only had one shot a little high right outside of the group of 19 shots. Usually when I haven't shot a pistol in a while, I'll throw maybe 10-15% of the shots just due to inconsistent trigger manipulation. This trigger is similar enough to the P-10F where that only happened once on Tuesday.
This is fun. This isn't easy.
