Sphinx SDP Compact Magazines?

I have searched high and low, including the archives of this form, but cannot find a definite answer.

Sphinx SDP Compact magazines do not seem to be made anymore, they are not available anywhere online and have not been for a long time.

Does anyone know with certainty which magazines will work with the Sphinx SDP Compact?

I have even emailed Mec-Gar asking them and they could not give me a definite answer.

I believe Kriss Firearms was the last manufacturer of the Sphinx SDP line of handguns and they still have the Compact and the Compact Duty listed for sale on their website.

They also have magazines listed, although the Compact mag is currently OOS.  They do have the Standard mag listed as in stock although it will stick out past the grip. You might keep checking with them to see if they get the Compact mag in stock.

I have a Sphinx SDP Compact Carry (same as Compact except uses 17 round mag because of longer grip)  and a CZ P-01 Compact mag will interchange with the Sphinx, so a CZ P-01 mag (17 round) should work in your Sphinx although it will stick out past the grip.  The CZ P-01 mag will also work in my new Shadow 2 Compact, but sticks out past the grip, so I'm almost 100% sure the standard CZ Shadow 2 Compact (15 round) mag will work in your Sphinx and fit flush with the grip. Double check before you buy, but any CZ-75 Compact mag should work in your Sphinx, such as the equivalent Mecgar mag listed below:
