I had an almost unbelievable day under overcast skies on Saturday in the mountains of New Mexico, and returned on Monday to try it again, but under different conditions--dead calm and bright early morning sunlight.
I had to make an adjustment in the aim point position to correct for dead calm compared to the light breeze from 9 o'clock on Saturday, and had difficulty the entire shoot with the high contrast aim point versus the red dot--too small of an aim point for the sunny conditions. At least that is my conclusion. For this shoot, I was only able to get 18 hits from 20 shots on each of three targets, and I shot two targets before moving the aim point to center the (large) groups on the target sheets.
Below is the long form video lasting about 13 minutes, but with some shots of the range and with a little more explanation of the process I go through when shooting 200 yards.

https://youtu.be/_EnEEfuyTK8I will use a black 24" circular aim point next time I get to shoot at 200 yards with the red dot pistols. And I will expect to see some eye fatigue sooner in bright sunlight than in overcast dreary but perfect conditions.
