Looking for info on the CZ. A01 SD
« on: May 22, 2024, 11:33:10 AM »
I’m thinking about purchasing a CZ A01 SD. I just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts and opinions on that pistol, slide the frame fit, overall smoothness, trigger, reliability, etc.

I have just received my one with an optic cut. So far only function tested it prior to installing a new optic and changing the grips to LOK palm swells.

Finish and fit is very good, tight frame slide interface along with internals.

Trigger a little heavy in DA (yet very smooth and clean) that could be attributed to the heavy mainspring 13lb. Changing this out this week to a 10lb as a baseline, running S&B primers and Federals for major matches.

I purchased my A01 SD in January and have fired approximately 600 rounds through it without any malfunctions. The single action trigger pull is very light and smooth. I replaced the stock grips with LOK grips. I purchased the A01 LD in August of 2023. Both guns are among my favorites to shoot. They weigh in at around 50 ounces. I have a Bull Accu Shadow from CZC also. I enjoy shooting it as well. I am a big fan of the CZC Shop’s handguns.
