Is "Pimpen" or "Pimpeh" a Czech word? Or a common name?

I don't have a better place to ask this, but I am looking at a CZ-82 holster, and on the inside flap of the holster, the word "Pimpen" or "Pimpeh" is written in blue pen. Is this a common word in the Czech language, or a common name? Maybe the name of the soldier or officer who carried the pistol? Thanks from USA.

It does not mean anything in Czech to English. It comes up in German or Dutch and means exactly what you would think. Probably just a name, but no real way to be certain.

If this is a used holster, then it's proabably the ex-user's name. Apparently it's common to write your name on all the equipment issued to you while in the Eastern block armies.
