Strikers are completely different in feel and control than a good ol' 1911!

I shot my 1911 two weeks ago and that went well, even with a somewhat heavy and crisper trigger than I prefer.  But I didn't shoot it long enough to really adapt once again to the trigger.  Next was two range sessions with the AR.  No comment.  So I looked forward to getting back to the P-10F CZ striker gun.

Right out of the safe, the holes were high left, so I made a 1 click right and 2 click down change and put up a fresh target, before really settling in with the trigger adaptation.  First 10 on target 2 were centered up fairly well but the group was not tight, the second 10 were fine except for one shot a little high due to my trigger finger and sight coordination.  But 9 of 10 shots in less than 5" is still a good day, especially since six consecutive shots of those 10 were in a 3-1/4" group.

I shot a third target but the improvement in trigger control was cancelled out once again by eye fatigue so no one will ever see that target video.  Next trip with the P-10F, if I don't shoot anything else, should be good.  I'd love to shoot 10 consecutive ten ring hits some day, but I'd settle for 5 or 6 in a row!

This is fun.  This is not easy.

I'm going back to the range today to try the P-10F again.  This time I'm going to compare the Atlanta Arms 115 JHP to the IMI 115 JHP at 100 yards on the same targets, that is 10 rounds AA then 10 rounds of IMI, then change paper targets and repeat.  With the video, I can identify the AA holes and the IMI holes and it will be much easier to see the change in POI with no changes in the sight zero, and hopefully, with no changes in the shooter's technique.  So 30 rounds of AA, 30 rounds of IMI, three targets, 10 of each on each target.

And I'm changing my video setup again, since I had a camera overheat and shut down on Tuesday just as I was finishing up the third target.

I should have the comparison video published no later than Friday morning, in a separate post.

Great shooting, as always, Joe. What plate are you using for the Holosun?

It is one from CZCustom.  They make several for different sights.  I don't recall the model number.
