P-10F at 100, comparison of AA and IMI ammo
« on: June 14, 2024, 09:23:43 AM »
I have good days and I have bad days.  Tuesday, I had a few good groups, but still suffered some trigger control issues.  So I went back on Thursday to try the P-10F again, hoping to benefit from the Tuesday trigger time.

I also wanted to try a method to determine what the differences really were between the Atlanta Arms 115 gr JHP and the IMI 115 gr JHP ammo choices.  I've had good groups with each, but tend to adjust the zero somewhat between session if I switch.

Here is the result:

Unfortunately, I just wasn't shooting very well on Thursday, so I didn't have any clearly defined groups with either ammo.  I attribute this to some eyesight issues and unsteadiness due to needing a rest day and medications on Wednesday for a long term chronic back problem.  In other words, my shooting skill level on Thursday was poor enough that it was not possible for me to shoot small enough groups to define any differences in the ammo.

I may repeat the test next week.
