CZ P-01 conversion to P-06?

Really love the P-01. Fits my hand better than any other gun. That said I like .40.

I bought a P-01 and Cajonized it with the pro kit.

I found a P06 and will Cajonize that one also with a pro kit.

Recently I bought a P-06 parts kit from Gun Busters- has all parts but the frame. I read most parts are interchangeable. The P-06 slide hits something and won’t fit the P-01 frame. The P-01 slide fits the P-06 frame. The extra P-06 slide fits on my P-06 with no issues.

Anyone know what parts are different that would cause this? Thinking it may be the sear cage? Anyone know? Didn’t want to take the entire thing apart if someone knew.

P-06s are hard to find nowadays. Would like to chamber a P-06 in .357 SIG, or a P-01 in .357 SIG, if that’s at all possible. I believe CZC and maybe CGW used to make that conversion.

Yeah that would be great to be able to get a 357 Sig barrel for the P-06. All my Glocks have both .40 and 357 Sig barrels. I believe the breach face is too small on the 9mm P-01. The P-06 slide would be needed.

Right, which is why we need to figure out why your P-06 slide is not fitting the P-01 frame.

Do you have a link to Gunbusters’ parts kit sales? I found a link to their firearm frame & receiver destruction service, but nothing on the parts sales. I know there was a controversy when libtard  anti-gun groups all got their panties in a wad when they found out confiscated guns were being sold for parts. Of course, selling the parts is how Gunbusters funds their “free” gun destruction for the gub’ment.

Gunbusters sells on Gunbroker.  Bought it a few months ago, so it no longer searchable.  It is a full parts kit with everything but the frame.

That's really not that bad considering the parts included and the fact that CZ does not offer slides for sale.

Have you tried putting the slide from you full P06 to see if it does the same thing as the parts slide you bought?

Yeah, $350 for a beat to hell slide / parts kit to put together a .357 Sig or .40 S&W Frankenpistol is getting pretty pricy, especially when you can get a brand new Tanfoglio compact in 10mm for @ $550 with a warranty and available spare parts.
