I'm not sure what the hammer weight is for the shadow 2 lineup, and I want to run my Shadow 2 22LR Kadet kit on a shadow. I think that the default hammer weight was 14 lbs., but I'm not sure. Hence my question.

The stock factory hammer spring on a CZ Shadow 2 is 20 lbs ( https://shop.cz-usa.com/main-spring-75-85-factory-0420030001.html ).

Huh. That seems almost too heavy considering how light and smooth the Shadow 2 triggers seem to be from the factory. At least that was the case when I shot a shadow 2 last year.

It’s more about what will set a 22lr round off consistently not what runs a 9mm slide. The 22lr round can be tough sometimes.

Personally i run a 17#Main spring when i run my Kadet 2 slide on my sp01, Bull Shadow, and actually 75 frame. A 13# will set some 22lr rounds off but not consistently. To be consistent double action pulls &single action  i run a 16-18#.  Personally i run Armscor because it works very well in all my 22 stuff.

Many many discussions in the rimfire kadet section .
