We finally made it back to the mountains of New Mexico this week, but it was Friday morning before I got to go to the shooting range. It's been two months since I last got to shoot the 9mm pistols at 200 yards, and it showed. I struggled with the P-10S so I put it up and tried to calm down enough to shoot the P-10F. The first 10 rounds grouped high and left, so I changed the hold visually to a little low and slightly right, instead of holding centered on the black bullseye. Looks like I held a little too far right and not quite low enough, but it is so hard to aim the red dot at a hold point 200 yards out that I was happy with this result.
https://youtu.be/EBu8aeohrhsI put up a fresh sheet after the target in the video and I lowered the aim point about 10" and shot 20 more rounds, but eye fatigue was getting to me by then, so the grouping was not that good. I'm hoping for one more trip to the range before returning home, and hope to have something to show for the second chance this week.
