Cz75 suppressor ready
« on: September 18, 2024, 06:58:27 PM »
I discovered today that the local shop has one of the suppressor ready CZ 75b omegas in stock for a reasonable price. It was about ready to follow me out the door when I found out that it's the pistol only. No box. Only one magazine is a bit of a bummer, but not a deal breaker. The problem is that it's set up as a decocker, and I really wish that it was a safety. Is it possible to acquire the parts to turn it into a safety? I was going to call cz, but it's after hours.

Yes, the whole point of the omega trigger is that you can swap between the decocker/ safety.  Likely sources to have the safety in stock would be czcustom or cajin gun works.

I think it's sku 19640

thank you for that. It is a bit of a bummer that it's OOS and $45. I was hoping it was a $20 part. It does cut down on how good a deal it is. oh well. they want $500 for the gun with 1 mag and nothing else. is that still a decent price when missing pieces?

Personally I'd only pay $450, given the hassle of needing to find the part.  But that's just me.

Some of us completely understand.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

The early version of the CZ75B Omega was NOT swappable and had a single side safety only just like the standard 75B. That model was discontinued in 2015.
