Rubber grip screws

Question: were the screws used to attach the rubber grips to the 97B phillips or slotted screws?

The screws on my 2005 97B are Phillips. Mine came with wood grips, but I changed over to CZ rubber grips.

I got my rubber grips used w/o screws so I just used the slotted screws from my aluminum thin grips.  Worked just fine and looks good!

True.  As long as the screws are the right length and thread, any screws work - slotted, Phillips, or Torx.  I assume the OP was just concerned with original appearances.

Not exactly. The aluminum grips shown on the CZ site are tapered seat and the torx screws used with them match the taper in the screw holes on the grips. The wood and rubber grips are flat head Phillips. They are all the same thread pitch though.

The screws on my 2005 SP01 are Phillips.

The reason that I asked this question is because the CZ parts diagram shows the screws as being slotted however. there is no washer shown.  I emailed CZ-USA with my question and got no response.  I'll propose my question to CZUB.

The earliest 97's probably did have slotted screws but were eventually changed over to Phillips like everything else. CZ probably just never updated the parts diagram.

Spare washers can be bought at most big box stores. You can also use a small O-ring.
