Front sight pin removal

To remove the front sight, there is a push pin that holds it in - remover left to right or right to left?

1. Others will chime in, but I'm not aware of any tapered pins being used on CZ pistols. Most are cylindrical roll pins (which require a punch with  tip) or solid rod pins.

2. All pins are Metric and require a Metric-sized punch set for best results, especially in the smaller sizes.

Hope this helps.

The pin can go either direction but I usually go from right to left and install left to right. The right being as viewed from the firing position or the ejection port side.

I would suggest a drop of oil on one end or the other of the pin and let it sit over night.

Then use the right diameter punch.  And start with a starter punch.  They have a shorter tip and are less likely to bend.  I've bent several of the tiny shaft punches you have to use for that front sight pin.  Start it moving with the starter punch and then switch to the standard punch to finish removing the pin.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
