Anybody have a tristar c100?
« on: December 06, 2024, 07:04:26 PM »
Just picked one up and so far it’s great!  I found it used for $300, hopefully it shoots as well as it looks and feels.  I read a little bit about tristar/Canik but I’d like to figure out how old it is.  I also don’t know what grips it has, definitely not stock.  Anything anyone can tell me about these tristar/caniks /whatever company they are is welcome, thanks all.

I have 2 full-size models. It’s been awhile but I recall the Year of manufacture is the first 2 digits of the serial number.

Definitely BIN price.

Sweet Deal, but....................

The USA Importer is TriStar and the manufacturer is Canik of Turkey.  Generally, these Pistols are very well made, Accurate, and Reliable.
These Pistols more directly follow the Cz75B design, but parts interchangeability is very iffy, as most parts can differ in dimensions.
Some Cz75B magazines will work in them.

Note that these Canik made Cz75B clones are no longer being manufactured due to Canik concentrating on their Polymer framed, Striker fired, TP9 Series Pistols.
I have Canik's early TP9DA, which is an excellent handgun and one of my favorite CCW's.

I have the TriStar T120 and it's one of my favorite USPSA/IPSC competition Pistols for Hi-Cap Limited. For Competition, I use the Mec-Gar Cz75B 19 round AFC Magazines with it.
So far it's not had any issues or let me down on the Ranges.
