It ain't even semi auto!
But it's fun and has finally been fully slicked up for Cowboy Action Shooting.
Stoeger Coach Gun, 12 gauge side by side. 3 range trips to work out the kinks plus a stop at my gunsmith buddy to disable the auto safety, (manual safety still works, it just doesn't automatically come on every time the gun is broken open anymore), lightened the top lever spring and slick up the chambers. It REALLY didn't like 00 Buck to begin with, had to disassemble it at the range to get the empties out.
Now it fires and shucks anything, even these little Federal Shorty Shells - that target shows 30 little 22 caliber balls through the paper from 11 paces. That might be handy for a newbie/"not a gun person" to use in a pinch, too.
The best thing was that they WERE going for bargain basement prices - I got this one for a hair over $300 SHIPPED. Seem to be sold out now, but I'm glad I got this one, and yes, the synthetic stock IS legal for Cowboy Action Shooting. And it's fun.
