A little trick you can try next time you have to take a gun apart that has this style safety lever with detent and spring, drip a couple drops of thick oil, like motor or gear oil, in behind that safety lever before you push it out. The oil might help it stick to the safety lever long enough to get a finger on it as you push it out. Or you can push the safety lever out just far enough to slip a strip of tape between the frame and the safety lever to tape the detent and spring down so it doesn’t fly out. Then push it the rest of the way out.
