A not so local LGS has a used CZ P-09 C Nocturne on hand. I was a little short on time, so I didn't have as much time to look at it as I would have liked. Since then, I've viewed quite a few videos about them. They had a lot of the usual whining about this or that, but I liked what I saw in the short time I handled it. It might be coming home with me this week if they still have it. I had a CZ P-07 that I really liked, but regretfully sold it. Never ever sell a gun that you really like, no matter what the reason.

Two things I’ve noticed.  No matter the commodity, whether it’s guns or anything else, some people nitpick and complain.  Nothing can be perfect or make everyone happy.  There are tradeoffs.  Second, I’m skeptical of video reviews because many video owners intentionally are negative.  That differentiates them from other producers.  Plus the more hits, the more revenue they earn.

I’m sure you will enjoy the P-09 if you get it.  Overall the reviews love it.

Given the resources available on the internet, there's almost no reason to buy a firearm sight unseen these days that you do not like, assuming you've spent a modicum of time to know what you want. And, if you are close to getting what you want, there're few reasons to sell. "Always buy, never sell," makes a lot of sense when it comes to firearms, given rogue states are constantly finding new ways to infringe on buying and ownership, and gun companies are always modifying and paring their offerings.

I bought my four CZ carry pistols in 2012, all sight unseen. There was no CZ dealer in my area then, but I found a local shop that would order CZs or to which ones I found could be shipped. My expectations were met or exceeded all four times, including the milsurp 82 I found for $199.

As to the P-09 C, given its a third generation CZ-75 P-07 Duty, there shouldn't be much, if anything, wrong with it.
