I've been holding out on getting another SAR, hoping to find a gently used 2000 or P8S with the Opelika stamp on it. But I just couldn't pass up a P8S stainless at that price. A buddy had been considering a P-01, but ordered one of these instead. I'm looking forward to it joining its siblings!

I got a P8S from a pawn shop a while back and love it. I paid a little more than I should’ve, but still less than new.

I have a P8L, and it is one of my favorite guns now - hence my interest in the S. It needed refinishing when I got it, and I didn't realize that the branding was just laser etched on. The refinish killed most of it. I have a program made to recreate the etch, but I just need the courage to run it on the slide. I guess if I screw it up, I can always sand it down and spray it again.

I jumped on a P8S. Too good a deal to pass up! Hoping it is of similar size and feel as my Tristar P100. It goes on most range trips. :)

I bought a stainless P8S a few days ago when they were $300 that's on the way to me now.  They must adjust their clearance prices depending on how they're selling.  The black compact and full sized ones for $280 are a steal.  It's funny how the daily deals seem to last for days now that the gun market is slow.

Don't worry - the pink and purple B6 compacts are still available!

How well does Krylon cover polymer?

These prices are tempting, but I reside in a tyrannical state, WA, that now bans the importation and sale of magazines holding more than 10 rounds. CA's version of this ban was corruptly upheld to be constitutional last week by the 9th Circus, the appellate court with jurisdiction over me. I see no way of taking advantage of these deals, or I'd eagerly opt for a B6C.

Dye it with RIT. You can get it at Walmart.

I ordered my P8S on 3/22, and it still shows as being processed. The Galloway spring kit I ordered for it (the same day) was out of stock, and it managed to arrive last Friday  >:(

I placed an order for the same pistol on 3/20 and it still hasn't arrived.  I just called and was told that the shipping department has up to 10 business days to ship.  That's a pretty poor answer, especially considering that gun sales are slow.
