CZ 630/631 differences
« on: April 02, 2005, 06:48:32 PM »
Hi, I've been looking for an air rifle for mainly indoor practice, and have pretty much narrowed it down to the CZ 630/631.
I see that Compasseco has the 630 in stock but are out of the 631. Am I correct that the only difference in the two is in the shape of the stock, or are there mechanical differences?
If there are no mechanical differences I will probably order the less expensive 630 instead of waiting to see if they get anymore 631's in.
Thank you very much in inadvance

Ok, I found the PDF instruction manual on the CZ-USA site and It explains the differences very well.

I'll include the URL in case anyone else is interested.

Compasseco sold the last of theirs and other dealers are mostly out of them.  There's supposed to be a new model coming out (634?) with a bit more power but I haven't heard of anyone getting one yet.

Thanks wchilton, I think I'll just wait 'til the new ones are available. Like you said, everyones sold out of the 631. Maybe I'll just get a 630 while I'm waiting :D
            Thanks again!

Auctions mostly for $99. they have the CZ630 as well and even the CZ634s. the 634s list for $199 and the CZ630s run about $86 Its worth checking out if you want a 631 or 630 rifle. Gun Broker Auctions.
