Front sight replacement for CZ Slavia 631?
« on: March 20, 2005, 10:19:10 AM »
I would like to replace the front sight on my CZ Slavia 631. D&L Airguns suggests using a Diana Match Sight @ CAD$57.00 plus CAD$3.75 per insert. Has anyone tried this? Any fitting required? Pics? I'll be using a Williams FP-GR aperture sight with it.

Or any other suggestions for a front sight replacement???

            Many thanks,

Although I have not gotten around to trying it on my 631 yet, I have been told that this will work:

It was done by a user called 'cpharrboy'. Look for threads in this forum called "Slavia 630 and 631 how do you like yours?" and "What pellets does your 631 like?". He explains it in those threads.

Welcome to the Cz forum Airgunfun..

One thing you may want to give a try , is useing a needle file
file down the front sight to an inverted 'v' shape , this adds considerably to the accuracy of the gun ..specially in hunting applications .
For the strict target practice , a Williams peep and front inserts will get very good results .
