SP-01 or P-01 trigger question
« on: October 10, 2007, 06:58:44 PM »
Is it possible to have a SA trigger installed on either of these similiar to the SA trigger found on a few other CZs?

I am a long time 1911 shooter, and well admittedly not used to the DA/SA pulls... not a complaint, just something I am not comfortable with.

Pistol will be used by myself if the SP01 and my wife if we go with the P01.  90% range use, 10% carry when we go car camping or jeeping in the hills.  Have a sw airlight we use on backpacking trips.

Thanks for any information.  We both love how these pistols feel in our hands and the overall action and design.... its just the trigger... again not a complaint or trolling here... just used to SA

It can be installed, but the gun must be converted to SA only (i.e., remove the disconnector and install the trigger.)

The trigger will not function with a gun that remains a DA/SA gun.

If you decide to go this way, read through the Home Gunsmithing section for tips.

Note, too, that there are two different single-action triggers.  One has two adjustments (for overtravel and take up, and one has only the overtravel adjustment.)
