I bought my 75Bmil in early June and fired it for the first time Aug. 11. I found the accuracy to be the best over any Ruger P series I have owned , however the reliability is another story. I fired this pistol with the factory 10 round, a  15 rd.Mecgar from the Bradster and two ProMags from CDNN. All caused fail to feed jams by locking the slide stop open. The way they did this was that the 1st,3rd and so on... rounds would get cocked over to the left and come forward in the magazine about a tenth of an inch causing the nose of the round to contact the slide stop and lock the slide open every other round. I experienced this less with the Mecgar but constantly with the others. Also all magazines rattled because of a round not being held tightly. As before not as bad with the Mecgar.
    Solutions:
Send back the faulty mags to CDNN and to CZ-USA. I will keep the mag from Bradster for now and exchange the ProMags for CDNN factory mags. More money spent.
I am pleased with the pistol itself except for the glob of polymer they left up near the muzzle but over all it is a very accurate pistol and if I can get some magazines that will feed correctly then it will also be reliable enough to trust as my familys home protection pistol. For now the security six is still at the ready.
My wife says she wants a CZ for herself now even though she saw the jam problem. I asked her why she likes it since accuracy isnt an issue for her. Her answer was "because its CZexy"

Man I am sorry to hear of your problems with a brand new CZ. I continue to be amazed at my good fortune with handguns. I have a variety of CZ products and some gawd awful cheap aftermarket magazines for some of them. I have never had a feeding or ejection problem with any CZ including the CZ50 which has been called a jamamatic on some boards. I am no gunsimth but I always polish the feedramp on any gun I own. My dremel and jewlers rouge and a few minutes slick it up just fine. I's sure you will get some help from the experts on this board. Please don't let this discourage you about CZ pistols. They are really great.

Thanks for the consoling words. I am sure that this problem is not the pistol. I think that it is the mags I am using.

Boy are you right! I tried my cheap new Promag for my Compact last night, and the same thing! After the first, they nosedive! I even tried the other two on the shelf, and the same thing. I do have one Promag that works, but from now on it's CZ mags. My boss did suggest a Wolf power spring for the Promag, but with the $9 the mag cost, I might as well get the good stuff.

Armoredman,
Did this cause your pistol to lock the slide open after a round fired even though the mag held many more rounds? I have been advised that my slide stop spring may not be tight enough but like you said, outside of the pistol when you strip off rounds with a finger the round below that is coming up still nosedives. I concur with you on purchasing factory 15 round mags. I am writing VonFatman a check for one today.

Yup, locked up tight, wide open. Embarrasing at the range, fatal in a gunfight. Factory only from now on, because I never get a burp from the original mag.

I just recieved a new slide stop spring from Mike at CZ today. I installed it during my lunch break and found that it gave some life to my slide stop. I examined another 75B mil at the base exchange annex the other day and found that it had a much tighter spring and that taking out the slide stop during field stripping was a bit more difficult. After installation mine is this way now. Seems that half of my original problem may now be solved. I'll post another review in a few weeks after we return from the field.

CZexy LOL! Classy wife.! She deserves a CZ75 Classic!

ito hope that your recent problems are over. Glad that
CZ-USA could get the part to you.

Know that yourself and Deputy are really the only two
CZ owners that have spoken up about this 'spring prob'
in the past few months...or at least caught my attention.

No gun is perfect, but i'm wondering what your serial number starts with?

email me.it will be kept in complete confidence.

My thinking is that we can adress further probs here ..and head off any great delays in parts./service.

Thanks , very for a detailed and Honest review of your CZUB product.
