CZ 27

I had read that the CZ 70 was a slightly improved CZ 50 AND that the CZ 50 was an improved CZ 27 with a Walther look to it.

I had a CZ 70 first and thought the trigger was tough.  I wasn't very interested in a 50 or 27 except for the history of it.

I wanted a CZ 27 for the history.  WWII, Nazi stamps and all cause I thought it would gain in value years hence.

I took it to the range.  The trigger is SMOOTH.  Probably from use.  It shoots almost as accurately as my CZ 85, but definatetly better than the 70, 52, that I have.

In fact, in terms of feel and my level of satisfaction with the gun, it's above my P38.

Point is, you won't be dissatisfied with this gun.  It may not have all the bells and whistles of the 50/70, but it's got history and simplicity on its side (it's quite easy to disassemble the entire gun with little experience)

Comparing my models 27, wartime and postwar, the latter is considerably more robust and trustworthy.  The Nazi 27 stays in the safe.

In good shape, it is as good as vz 50 and 70, once you are trained in the odd safety.
