Well, I got my first set of Hakan grips today, and they totally blow away any other set of grips I've ever seen! They are far better than any Hogue, or even the tons of hand made, "one of a kind" stuff I've seen at gun shows. They are even better than the custom work that I see at my favorite local gun shop (which even advertises in the national gun mags).
They are Flame Birch Shadow grips with the Walnut oil finish, and look just amazing. The Walnut oil gives them an almost 3D hologram effect, that the pictures just can't do justice with. I like the effect so much, that I think my next set will just be plain Flame Birch with the Walnut oil finish sans the shadow effect.
Let me also say a few words about Hakan. He is truly a pleasure to do business with. I wish all my transactions were this smooth and easy. For this reason and the quality of the work, I would recommend his products to anybody without hesitation.
