What is the the notch width and fiber optic blade width on the competition sights?

Width of notch: .120"
Width of FO front sight: .120"
Width of black front sight: .98"

Thanks that is close to I run on my Kimber.  .090 and .120

The black front sights are .98 in width?  I thought that they were 3mm in width.

Obvious typo,

.098" not .98"

1/10" not 1"

I don't know what they are advertised as, I just measured mine and reported my results.

I have both the FO and the "file fit" black front sight, the ones meant to be used with the comp rear sight.
I can't decide which I like better, the FO is quicker to aquire and works well for USPSA, but the black gives me a more precise picture which has worked better for me in steel plate matches.

The fronst sight blad will jsut fit in the rear sight notch that is my rule of thumb for iron sights. The black blade is a little narrower.
