Magazine base pads from Italy
« on: May 23, 2007, 10:39:26 AM »
Hi!

I ordered three rubber magazine base pads from Italy after seeing them recommended on a CZ forum, and reading that they would cost maybe eight bucks each including shipping.

When I looked at my debit card statement, the three rubber pads cost me $38.15 delivered to my door. I dunno, guys... Does that sound like a lot of money to you...?

Thats 28.something euros, which works out to about....

9 and bit euros each incl. shipping.

So I think they were quoting the approximate price in euros, which would make it about right, especially allowing for currency fluctuations.

Sadly, the US dollar has slipped quite a bit against the Euro and the Pound since those initial postings! I know I had to skip resubscribing to an excellent British Linux magazine when the converted price for one year came to $190. :eek
