STOKED! I just filled out paperwork and took the  handgun safety test. I missed one question, so hopefully that means I won't shoot myself in the foot. What a beautiful gun. I had a hard time leaving it there, but we will be reunited in 10 days. I know what women feel like when they leave their baby at the sitter for the first time.  ;D

I have a question about 10 round mags. Anyone know of mags that work well for me?

Hello, Just bought a 75b SA, and shot it for the first time this week. Best ergo's of any gun I own. Very accurate. This is a Custom Shop gun with the flat trigger. I am in love, or at least in heat!

Jammed open action

I just fired my CZ 75 B satin nickel for the first time. I got through 20 rounds of Federal 115gr fmj and then switched to winchester. On the 4th or 5th round the action jammed open and a shell didnt eject. The gun remains in an open action jammed state. SAD for me.

Update on my jammed 75 B:

The guys at CZ were awesome in dealing with the issue in a VERY timely manner. They sent me a next day FedEx label and had the gun for only a couple days before sending it back. I should have it tomorrow just in time for camping. I guess there was some finish build-up on the rail that caused it to seize.

Again, great job guys!  :D

Loving my '75B. Have around 600 rounds thru it. Flawless. No failures of any kind. Accurate.

Have to do some work on my trigger as it leaves a lot to be desired. It's my only complaint. And, it's a bit painful and bites a bit.

But, it's a solid pistol that I am proud to own, unlike the last pistol I sold to get it! Just have to figure out what trigger I want, and it will be perfect. Cheers.

Hi everyone
i'm from Canada, new to this forum & also new to pistol.
i picked up my first CZ 75B yesterday but haven't tried to shoot yet, like to learn more things on it before hit to the range.
My CZ-455 LUX never let me down since i've owned it for awhile now, i believe i chose the right pistol this time too.

here's my first question: On the left slide, where the "CZ 75 B cal.9 luger (CZ logo) then there's the ? (omega symbol).
is it a CZ-75B Omega? and the different to the other 75B?

edit: found the answer here in this forum.
thanks anyway

Why the shortage of 75b and BD 9mm?
« Reply #53 on: December 09, 2012, 01:14:46 AM »
Hi,  I'm new to the forum and excited about purchasing my first cz but a dealer told me today that their cz rep said 2600 gun back order exists. Any insites to why?  Any recommendation on a dealer who may have a B or a D or a BD in stock, as well as the Kadet conversion kit?

Thanks in advance!

Just placed an order with my local FFL today for a CZ 75B. Can't wait to add another CZ. Selling my XD compact to help finance the CZ. as it was not one of my favorites.

I have a new 75 B in 9mm polycoat. :)  A fine firearm.  It's my second firearm owned(first a CZ 452 Trainer in .22 cal.).  Since this is my first handgun, I have a bit of a learning curve.  Have shot various rental guns and those of family members.  Have taken it to my club and fired ~40 rounds @ 5 yds.(taking baby steps first).   Fits my hand well and feels good to hold and shoot. :D

Have cleaned it after my first shoot.  Still learning the proper procedure(lots of different ways to clean a handgun).  Will be searching the forum for cleaning tips.  My cleaner/lube is ballistol.  My main concern is getting lubricant in areas like the sear cage and rear of the slide.  Also, will be careful not to oil too much.  The fieldstrip is very easy(demonstrated on CZ-USA website, as well as many you tube video's).

Also, have a new custom molded leather paddle holster(molded to fit a glock 27) that fits as snug as a bug in a rug.

I liked the 75 BD so much, i bought a sister, 75 B, a week later. Just as nice as my Sigs, and as reliable as my glock.

I've had the b for 1 year now, 3,000 rnds through her without a single problem. Love the feeling, accuracy and reliability.
I 've done a adjustable seer and recessed trigger from CGWs and am very very happy.
