Metal Guide Rod Update Info

Hi All,

I would like to get a metal guide rod and spring for my CZ100 but a recent article I read said that metal guide rods and not recommended for polymer frame guns.  Any comments?

Don't tell that to the Glock guys. They have been buying steel guide rods for years, myself included. In fact, both of my CZ 100's are sporting AroTec S/S G19 guide rods. They are a perfect fit for the CZ100. Have not seen any problems after several years. Could you point me to this article you read. I am always interested in others opinions.

I found one of the article that I read earlier about the metal rods.  It has to do with Glocks but since you (Old Coastie) said you use a rod that fits a G-19 I thought that this may be something to read and comment on.
