Brady Campaign Sues to Stop CCW in National Parks
« on: December 31, 2008, 05:53:17 PM »
Found this link on another forum. Reading it shows how uninformed these people are. Apparently revolvers would be OK but not those awful Semi Automatics!!

The Brady Bunch is not overly supplied with common sense, as much as they call for common sense laws. Common sense shows criminals don't obey the law, and law abiding citizens should be allowed the ability to defend themselves. Also, wild animals,(the kind you find in some large National Parks and Monuments), only understand the law of survival. If you are unarmed, you are lunch. Disney twisted a lot of kids minds into thinking nature is sweetness, singing, and cute little animals who only want to help. Nature is tooth and claw, blood and death. I have no claws, and my teeth are small and blunt. So I carry a BIG fang.

A person said to call them and tell them how you feel about thier law suite. Umm they could care less how anyone pro-gun feels about anything they do. I think the law suite is a waste of time. So is the Brady bunch.

Made my spine shiver, bro. Not many other people share that opinion, unfortunately. Especially the people that hang around the Disney fansites. My god, you wouldn't believe how BRAINWASHED some of these people are.... The optimism is almost sickening at times. And to hold a sensible, realistic view like this automatically makes you a bloodthirsty heathen in their eyes. It's no wonder people are afraid of violence and push conservation so much these days. It's also why they say parents fear violence in video games more than their kids getting a hold of drugs these days.

Well, we could look on the positive side of things.  While Big O has suspended all late term Bush rules, if this one survives, we have actually won something.  We have banned the Brady Bunch from National Parks, since they state their members will no longer use them in fear of law abiding, everyday citizens, who happen to understand that stopping a bear (or a drunk or drugged up, unruly urbanite) with a clearly uttered statement to "please stop" is not always effective. ;D

Fortunately, this rule went into effect and on the Register on Jan 9th, would take a BIG effort from Obum to overturn it now.

The Brady's are people who share their misery.  Sure, they were dealt a crummy hand back in 1981, but unlike most of us who quietly suffer our own tragedies (whatever form they may take), the Brady's have had to spread their pain, forcing all of us to share in their agony.

They are not the only ones.  The folks behind Three Strikes laws are no different, thinking that changing the laws and harming others somehow diffuses their own pain.  More or harsher law is really never the answer to a tragedy; more law enforcement personnel or better safety procedures are the answer averting future tragedies.
