ResOps...you are just going to love it.  The Shadow really does shoot beautifully right out of the box.  That said, I did have a few things done to make mine just spectacular - trigger job, changed mainspring to 13#, changed recoil spring to 11#, competition hammer.

They seem to have a sixth sense about these things don't they?  You KNOW she'll be using that against you later on, right?  :D

A hearty congrats on the excellent new family addition.
Witty saying to be plagarized shortly.....

Congrats RO!

Come now, post a pic of the baby man! ;D

I had the good fortune of holding one in my hands last week whilst on a visit to South Africa.  I have not seen any in Namibia yet but believe me I am working feverishly to change that soon! 8)

dgspurge do you have the Shadow or the SP-01.  I ask because the Shadow comes with the competition hammer, FO sights and a pretty good trigger.

Take Care

Hi Bob,

I do have the Shadow and you are right it was pretty amazing right out of the box, but my DA was still a bit stiff (especially with the 15# mainspring).  And since I live pretty close to Angus's shop I decided to have a trigger job done...which includes the CZ Custom competition hammer and a 13# mainspring.  Since I plan on reloading and decided to go with an 11# recoil spring so I wouldn't have (hopefully) many jams.
