nice gun..a bit bigger and heavier than an SP01.
absolutely fantastic trigger out of the box..mine broke at 2#..cleans up beautifully to 1.25#.

gun is very accurate and runs reliable.

The Pros:
Accurate right out of the box.

Very heavy steel frame to handle major powerfactor .40S&W ammunition.
Nice long sight radius for a clean sight picture.

Fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight available.
Aluminum grips and magwell available to upgrade from walnut grips and plastic magwell.
Basepads available to increase capacity of 17 round magazines to 20 round magazines

The Cons.

Maybe too heavy for some people (you can always have the CZ custom shop cut the dust cover back to lose some weight.)
Safety lever is small and too far forward for some people and can get in the way.
Magazine release button is huge and sometimes gets in the way of grip resulting in the unitentional magazine release.
Magazines are a bit small and won't allow for loading the .40S&W round longer than 1.16" OAL (at least in my magazines).
Grip frame is very large, great for shooters with big hands, not so good for those of use with medium to small hand sizes.

I think I almost have mine dialed in and just need to get a left hand safety lever either custom made or try and get one of those bigger safeties that Angus has been working on.

I have a Sp-01 and love it. I also have big hands and should not have a problem with the safty. The thing that sucks is know one around here has one. I would like to shoot one before I spend $1800 on gun and gear.

I picked up one from a local shop just this week (also .40 sw) and I really love it.  I do think the wood grips will have to be changed out to the Aluminum grips, new magwell, and probably a f/o sight up front (I am really use to the one on my Shadow)...but the trigger is just amazing right out of the box.  Last time I was in Angus's shop he had a 'tricked-out' version of a TS, and that over-sized safety option is VERY nice.

Stuart....didn't you have a really nice customized TS?  I think I remember seeing pics somewhere...if so, any chance of reposting?

Finally shot the TS at the range the other day and all I can say is WOW.  I made a quick comment here:

And I have to say that I am now rethinking my earlier post about making changes to the grips and sight...the TS shoots beautifully right out of the box!

Stuart,

I notice that you didn't change out the sights on your TS.  Any particular reason?...apart from the thing shooting so well with the iron sights.

I liked the rear sight..the front sight was thinned and serrated..

I played with it a little in Limited..so only iron sights

Just got mine on order today. Got a hell of a deal on it. it was $950 with a extra mag. Just have to save a bit for the grips, magwell, and CR Speed stuff.

Ya I got 4 coming. I am not sure what I want to do with it. I will more the likely get one more mag and 2 base pads. That way I can go L10 or limited.

Yes...you are going to love it!  I just hope the TS doesn't go the way of the CZ Champion.  There isn't much traffic on the various boards about the TS, and it really deserves much more attention.

BTW...Stuart - thanks for reposting...just love the look of your TS.  Do you still have it?  I saw your posting over at CZ Shooters and you had some big plans for that TS...I am especially interested to know how the extended safeties worked out.
