Anticipation
« on: March 14, 2009, 11:59:07 AM »
I just ordered my first hand gun, an SP01 from Angus last night.  I added the F/O front sight and had it resprung.  Waiting to receive it is going to be hardest part!  It will help that I'm on a business trip next week so hopefully that will keep my mind off of it while it's being shipped.  I'll be sure to post pics once I receive it.

I hate that feeling!  Post some pics when you get it.

Man I know how you feel - I bought my Shadow a month ago and had to wait for my travel permit. It's even worse when you have it but can't leave the yard  :o

My SP01 Custom Shop from Angus is due in a week.  I ordered it with the trigger job, F/O front and tactical rear sight, and 14 lb recoil spring.  It cost me about $65 more than a shadow, but I couldn't get comfortable with not having a FPB.  So, in effect, I ended up with a Shadow with a FPB for 65$ more.  Did I make the wrong decision?

So I took my new baby to the range this morning.  It came in on Wednesday, but i was out of town on business until 5pm last night...talk about a loooong flight home.

Anyway, I put 200 rounds through it with no problems whatsoever.  It felt awesome, shot perfect...well the gun shot perfect, I tended to miss a little left, but i was consistant.

I can't wait to go back!

Pictures will follow shortly.

I just rubbed salt in my wounds...Went to an IPSC club night where my Shadow is and put two boxes through in 5 stages...man I'm hooked and depressed it's sitting in the vault at the range...

Lots of very sad stories in this post.

I noticed this crowd's use of the pronoun "she", the displaced affection, the longing....so this should perk you guys up:

Last Sunday, mine shot a 200 round outdoor IPSC match and she did me proud. Then she stripped down for me to caress all over.

Tomorrow, she and I are off for a half-day's systematic practice along with whatever girls last Sunday's competitors are dating this weekend.

;)
