Problem already or normal?
« on: March 22, 2009, 03:33:02 PM »
So I picked up my SP01 fthat I ordered from CZ Custom on Friday from my local range, put 200 rounds through it yesterday.  Just came from the range where I put another 100 rounds through it. Halfway through this session I noticed what appears to be a loose part.  I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it is the trigger pin.  The reason I noticed it was loose was because it was like a sharp burr on the outside that my finger grazed over it.  I used my finger nail and pressed it back in.  It didn't come out far, but obviously far enough to feel it.

My question is, Is this normal?  Should it be this loose after 300 rounds?  Is this something I need to have fixed right away?  I plan on calling CZ Custom tomorrow, but figured I would ask you folks in the mean time.

I hope this picture comes out.  The part in question has the red circle around it.

There should be a flared lip on the other side of that pin that keeps it from walking loose.  The last time it was installed it may not have been sufficiently flared.

Looks pretty well flared to me.
Is the pin actually walking out of the frame or just turning?
If this was a  factory gun this would have been staked at the factory

It actually walked out a few millimeters...on the side that I showed.  So yes, this side is well flared, the other side wasn't.  I was at my buddy's house last night, fellow SP01 owner, and he helped me flare the other side.  Hopefully problem is solved.  Will update after next trip to the range.
