Installing FAO rear sights on an SP-01 Tactical???

How would I go about installing new FAO rear sights on a SP-01 Tactical?

Would I just use a brass puch wacking it left to right, and then slip in or knock in the new FAO sight??

Also is there any trick to to not damaging the finish of either the slide or the new sight?

Same with installing a front fiber optics any trick for not damaging the front sight or slide??

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Apparently a 'sight pusher' is the tool that best controls this process.
I have not seen one but figure they act like a bicycle chain pin pusher.

I adjusted the rear sight on my CZ by removing the slide from the gun, placing it sideways on a high-density poly cutting board, then tapping it sharply with a 1/4" drift and mechanic's hammer. Remember to first loosen the sight's 2 hold-down screws with a 2mm Alan key.

A piece of hard glossy cardboard between the punch and sight body preserved the finish.

To "the chief",

Sorry , new to the forum just wanted to make sure someone got to the question(s). No double posts from now on!

To my friend who answered the post so quickly thank you! If I had posted "push" I ment brass "puch" (the one angus and rob sell), Also I don't see where the 2mm hold down screws are?  Do you mean on the FAO sight? Any help? (feel a dump on this one.)

The Alan screws are on a SP-01 Shadow's rear sight. Don't know if your Tactical has those or not.
Good to make sure though before you start trying to move that sight.

The punch I used was steel -couldn't find a brass one- but with the glossboard spacer there is no damage if you keep the punch perfectly perpendicular to the sight's lateral edge. On a Shadow, the sight edge is flat not curved.
